LA 411 begins at the intersection of Louisiana Highway 76 in Rosedale, running north on the eastern banks of a Mississippi River canal runoff, with LA 77 running on the west side of the canal. Six miles from the southern terminus, LA 411 passes by the eastern edges of Maringouin.
